It was his first ATP 500 title, his 11th career ATP Tour title, and he did not lose a set en route. It was Tsitsipas' fourth loss in the Barcelona final, after 2018, 2021, and 2023. The final was a rematch of the Monte-Carlo final the week prior, which Tsitsipas had won.
