The 2022 UNAF U-20 Tournament was the 15th edition of the UNAF U-20 Tournament. The tournament took place in Egypt, from 18 to 24 October 2022. The tournament also served as the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations. [1]

The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, known as the Total2019 Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship reasons, was the 32nd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the biennial international men's football championship of Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The 2018 UNAF U-15 Tournament is the second edition of the UNAF U-15 Tournament. The tournament took place in Algeria from 11 to 15 April 2018. The start of the tournament was scheduled for 11 April but was postponed to 12 April.

The 2019 UNAF U-15 Tournament is the 4th edition of the UNAF U-15 Tournament. The tournament took place in Oran, Algeria from 18 to 25 March 2019. Four teams take place to the tournament, Algeria, Libya, Morocco and the invited team Mauritania. Egypt and Tunisia withdrew from the tournament.

The 2019 UNAF U-18 Tournament was the 11th edition of the UNAF U-20 Tournament which was apparently changed from U-20 to U-18 in 2017. The tournament took place in Alexandria, Egypt, from 4 to 14 April 2019.

The 2019 African Games men's football tournament was the 12th edition of the African Games men's football tournament. The men's football tournament was held as part of the 2019 African Games between 16–30 August 2019. Under-20 national teams took part in the tournament.

The second round of CAF matches for 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification was played over six matchdays, from 1 September to 16 November 2021.
