The competition was managed by the Icelandic Basketball Association (KKÍ) and the final four was played in Laugardalshöll, Reykjavík, and broadcast live on RÚV. [1] [2] Kári Jónsson was named the Cup Finals MVP after turning in 22 points and 7 assists.

Ingi Þór Steinþórsson is an Icelandic professional basketball coach. He last coached Úrvalsdeild karla club KR.
Pétur Már Sigurðsson is an Icelandic professional basketball coach and a former player. He is currently the head coach of Vestri. He is the former head coach of the Úrvalsdeild kvenna club Stjarnan and former assistant coach of the Icelandic men's national basketball team. He coached the men's national team during the 2013 Games of the Small States of Europe in the absence of Peter Öqvist. The team finished third with two wins and two losses.
Hlynur Elías Bæringsson is an Icelandic professional basketball player for Stjarnan of the Úrvalsdeild karla and a member of the Icelandic national basketball team. He won the Icelandic championship in 2010 as a member of Snæfell and the Swedish championship in 2011 as a member of Sundsvall Dragons.
Logi Gunnarsson is an Icelandic former basketball player who played most of his career for Njarðvík in the Icelandic top-tier Úrvalsdeild karla. He was a member of the Icelandic national basketball team, where he participated at the EuroBasket 2015 and EuroBasket 2017. During his career he has won the Icelandic championship three times, in 1998, 2001 and 2002, and the Icelandic Cup twice, in 2002 and 2021. In 2001, he was named the Icelandic Male Basketball Player of the Year.
Kristófer Acox is an Icelandic basketball player for Valur of the Úrvalsdeild karla and a member of the Icelandic national basketball team, with whom he participated in the EuroBasket 2017. As a member of KR, he won the Icelandic championship three times in a row from 2017 to 2019. In 2022, he added his fourth championship, this time with Valur and in 2023, he won the Icelandic Cup for the first time.
