A foil is one of the three weapons used in the sport of fencing, all of which are metal. It is flexible, rectangular in cross section, and weighs under a pound. As with the épée, points are only scored by contact with the tip, which, in electrically scored tournaments, is capped with a spring-loaded button to signal a touch. A foil fencer's uniform features the lamé. The foil is the most commonly used weapon in competition.

Corinne Catherine Diacre is a French professional football manager and former player who played as a defender. She played her entire club career with Soyaux in the Division 1. She was also an international player with the France national team from 1993 to 2005, captaining the team for much of that period.

The 2007 European Fencing Championships was held in Ghent, Belgium. The event took place from 2 to 7 June 2007.

Saint Germain-en-laye Hockey Club, also known as Saint Germain HC, is a professional field hockey club based in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Paris, France.

The 2015 Pan American Fencing Championships were held at the National Sports Stadium, in Santiago de Chile, from 17 to 26 April 2015. The event was organized by the Pan American Fencing Confederation and the Chilean Fencing Federation, with the support of the International Fencing Federation and with the sponsorship of the Chilean Ministry of Sport and the Chilean Olympic Committee. It gathered more than 220 fencers from 24 countries. It is a qualifying tournament for the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto. It also belongs to the qualification road to the 2016 Summer Olympics.

The 2016 Pan American Fencing Championships were being held at the Convention Center Vasco Nuñez de Balboa in Panama City from 21 to 26 June 2016. The event was organized by the Pan American Fencing Confederation and the National Fencing Association of Panama.

The 2022–23 Fencing World Cup is the 52nd edition of the Fencing World Cup, a fencing competition organized annually by the International Fencing Federation. It began on 10 November 2022 in Algiers and ends in July 2023 at the end of the World Championships. The official calendar includes eight competitions per discipline, in addition to the zone and world championships.
