The 2023 season is contested mainly in Estonia, but there is one rally in Latvia which is part of the Estonian Rally Championship.

Ott Tänak is an Estonian rally driver and the 2019 World Rally Champion. He is currently teamed with Martin Järveoja and is competing for M-Sport World Rally Team.

The 2014–15 Estonian Cup was the 25th season of the Estonia's most prestigious football knockout tournament. The defending champions Levadia were eliminated after a walkover loss against 4 tier club in the third round as they fielded an unregistered player. Nõmme Kalju won their first title and qualified for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.

The 2016 FIA World Rally Championship-2 was the fourth season of the World Rally Championship-2, an auto racing championship recognized by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, ran in support of the World Rally Championship. It was created when the Group R class of rally car was introduced in 2013. The Championship was open to cars complying with R4, R5, and Super 2000 regulations. The Championship was composed of thirteen rallies, and drivers and teams had to nominate a maximum of seven events. The best six results counted towards the championship.

The auto24 Rally Estonia 2015 was the sixth running of the Rally Estonia and also the sixth round of the 2015 European Rally Championship season. The event was won by Alexey Lukyanuk & Alexey Arnautov who won 8 stages out of 16.

Martin Järveoja is an Estonian rally co-driver. He is currently teamed with Ott Tänak and is competing for M-Sport in the World Rally Championship.

Estonian Rally Championship is the national rally championship in Estonia, held annually since 1959.

The 2018 African Rally Championship was the 38th season of the African Rally Championship (ARC), the FIA regional zone rally championship for the African continent. The season began on February 23 in the Côte d'Ivoire, and ended on October 7 in Rwanda, after seven events.

The 2019 Rally Estonia was a motor racing event for rally cars that was held over three days between 12 and 14 July 2019. It marked the ninth running of Rally Estonia. The event consisted of fifteen special stages totalling 151.98 km (94.44 mi) in competitive kilometres. The stages were run on smooth gravel roads of Southern Estonia. Two street stages were also held during the rally, in Tartu and in Elva. Rally headquarters and service park were based in Otepää, at the Tehvandi Sports Center, while city of Tartu hosted the ceremonial start and finish.

Joel Tammeka is a retired rally driver from Estonia. Tammeka is one of the few racing drivers in the Baltic states who has achieved good results competing in Dakar rally. In 1991 Dakar rally he became third in the truck class driving with Kamaz. Tammeka still holds the record for the best overall result in a truck class in the Baltics as well as for an Estonian driver.

Vello Õunpuu was an Estonian rally driver. He participated in European Rally Championship and in the World Rally Championship. From 1980 to 1986 he was part of the Soviet Union Team.
