The league featured 10 teams from the 2022 campaign, two new teams relegated from the 2022 Pro League: Al-Sareeh and Al-Jazeera, and two new teams promoted from the 2022 Jordan League Division 2: Samma and Umm al-Quttayn.

Al-Jazeera won the league title and promoted to 2024–25 Jordanian Pro League along with Al-Sareeh. Al-Turra and Alia were relegated to the 2024 Jordan League Division 2.

      The 2012–2013 Jordanian Pro League was the 61st season of the top-flight football in Jordan and started on 21 August 2012. The season then finish in April 2013, Al-Faisaly was the defending champions. Shabab Al-Ordon won the second title in its history. Al-Yarmouk and Shabab Al-Hussein were relegated to the Jordan League Division 1 after finishing bottom in the 2012–2013 league.
