The 2024 Big Sky Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Big Sky Conference held from November 6 to November 10, 2024. The five-match tournament took place at South Campus Stadium, home of the regular season champions Montana Grizzlies. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Idaho were the defending champions. [1] Idaho was unable to defend their title as they lost to Sacramento State, in a penalty shoot-out in the Final. [2] [3] This was the third overall title for Sacramento State, all of which have come under head coach Randy Dedini. [4] As tournament champions, Sacramento State earned the Big Sky's automatic berth into the 2024 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament.

Seeding

The top six teams in the regular season earned a spot in the tournament. Teams were seeded based on regular season conference records, and the first and second seeds earned a bye into the Semifinals. No tiebreakers were required as the top seven teams in the conference all finished with unique conference records. [5]

The five-match tournament took place at EWU Soccer Complex, home of the regular-season champions Eastern Washington Eagles. The Eastern Washington Eagles were the defending champions and successfully defended their title, defeating the Northern Colorado Bears 3–0 in the final. This was the second Big Sky tournament title for the Eastern Washington women's soccer program, both of which have come under the direction of head coach Chad Bodnar.

The 2018–19 Sacramento State Hornets men's basketball team represented California State University, Sacramento in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Hornets were led by eleventh-year head coach Brian Katz and competed at The Nest as a member of the Big Sky Conference for the 23rd consecutive season. The Montana Grizzlies were the defending champions and successfully defended their title by defeating Weber State in the Finals. This was the sixth overall title for Montana, and the third title for coach Chris Citowicki. Montana and coach Citowicki have won three of the last four Big Sky Conference Tournaments. As tournament champions, Montana earned the Big Sky's automatic berth into the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.

The 2022 Big Sky Conference women's soccer tournament was the postseason women's soccer tournament for the Big Sky Conference held from November 2 to November 6, 2022. The five-match tournament took place at Jackson Stadium, home of the Northern Colorado Bears. The six-team single-elimination tournament consisted of three rounds based on seeding from regular season conference play. The Montana Grizzlies were the defending champions. Montana was unable to defend their title as they lost to Idaho in the Semifinals. Northern Arizona won their first title since 2014 by defeating Idaho in the final on penalties 4–3 after the game finished tied 0–0. This was the fourth overall title for Montana, and the first title for head coach Alan Berrios. As tournament champions, Northern Arizona earned the Big Sky's automatic berth into the 2022 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament.

Northern Arizona was unable to defend their title as they lost to Idaho in the Final. The 2–1 victory gave Idaho their first Big Sky Conference title. This was the first overall title for Idaho, and the first title for head coach Jeremy Clevenger. As tournament champions, Idaho earned the Big Sky's automatic berth into the 2023 NCAA Division I women's soccer tournament.

The 2023–24 Portland State Vikings women's basketball team represented Portland State University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Vikings, led by third-year head coach Chelsey Gregg, played their home games at the Viking Pavilion in Portland, Oregon as a member of the Big Sky Conference.
