The 2024 CSA Provincial T20 Cup was a Twenty20 cricket tournament that took place in South Africa during March and April 2024. [1] It was the fourth season of the CSA Provincial T20 Cup, organized by Cricket South Africa. The tournament ran from 6 March to 7 April 2024. [2] [3] [4]

Background

Cricket South Africa (CSA) is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated CSA T20 competitions, promising an electrifying display of cricketing talent and excitement for fans across the nation.

The tournaments are set to kick off with Division 2 matches starting on Wednesday, 6 March 2024. This will be followed by Division 1 matches commencing on Friday, 8 March 2024, showcasing top-tier cricketing action that promises to keep spectators on the edge of their seats.

In Division 2, Eastern Cape Iinyathi, Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers, Northern Cape Heat, Mpumalanga Rhinos, ITEC Knights, Limpopo Impalas, and Eastern Storm will battle it out for supremacy, adding another layer of intensity and competition to the thrilling T20 format.

The 2024 CSA T20 Challenge was a Twenty20 cricket tournament that took place in South Africa. It was the twentieth season of the CSA T20 Challenge, organized by Cricket South Africa. The tournament ran from 8 March to 28 April 2024. Titans were the defending champions.

The 2023–24 CSA 4-Day Series is a first-class cricket competition taking place in South Africa from 26 October 2023 to 3 March 2024. It was the 3rd edition of the post-franchise era and retained the two-division league format introduced the previous year. The competing teams in each division were different for the first time since the 2021–22 adoption of the provisional format, with KwaZulu-Natal Inland being promoted to Division 1 and Knights being relegated to Division 2 based on their performances across all formats in the previous two years. 2023–24 will be the first season to have promotion and relegation based on teams' performances across formats in just that one season.

The 2024 CSA Provincial T20 Cup was a Twenty20 cricket tournament that took place in South Africa during September and October 2024. It was the 5th season of the CSA Provincial T20 Cup, organized by Cricket South Africa. The tournament will start from 21 September with the final being played on 20 October 2024. Limpopo Impalas were the defending champion.

The 2024–25 CSA 4-Day Franchise Series is the 118th CSA 4-Day Domestic Series cricket season in South Africa. As in 2023, Division One had eight teams and Division Two had seven teams. The season started on 30 October 2024 and is scheduled to finish on 14 April 2025.
