The 2024 FIBA Men's Pre-Qualifying Olympic Qualifying Tournaments in Africa was one of five 2024 FIBA Men's Pre-Qualifying Olympic Qualifying Tournaments. The 2021 AfroBasket Women was the 25th edition of the tournament and held from 18 to 26 September 2021 in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The top two teams qualified for one of the qualifying tournaments for the 2022 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup.

The 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification for the FIBA Africa region, began in November 2021 and concluded in February 2023. The process determined the five African teams that would participate at the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

The 2022 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup Qualifying Tournament determined the last ten teams for the 2022 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup. It was held from 10 to 14 February 2022.

The EuroBasket 2025 qualification is a basketball competition that is being played from November 2021 to February 2025, to determine the 20 FIBA Europe member nations who will join the automatically qualified co-hosts Latvia, Cyprus, Finland and Poland at the EuroBasket 2025 finals tournament.

The 2025 FIBA Asia Cup qualification is a basketball competition that is being played from June 2022 to February 2025, to determine the FIBA Asia-Oceania nations who will qualify for the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup.

The men's qualification for the Olympic basketball tournament will occur between August 2023 and 2024, allocating twelve teams for the final tournament. All five FIBA zones are expected to have a representation in the Olympic basketball event.

The tournament was held from 12 to 20 August 2023. Two tournaments were held, with the winning team of each tournament qualifying for the 2024 FIBA Men's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments. Gliwice, Poland and Tallinn, Estonia hosted the first tournament and Istanbul, Turkey hosted the second one.
