The tournaments for the qualification for the 2024 Men's European Water Polo Championship was held between 23 and 25 June 2023. [1]

Format

The 16 teams were split into four groups of four teams. The tournament was played at a single venue with the group winners and the three best second-ranked teams qualified for the final tournament. [2]

The draw took place on 1 April 2023. [2]

Originally awarded to Tel Aviv in October 2022, the host site was moved to Netanya, Israel in March 2023 due to technical challenges surrounding the agreed dates and also to reduce the costs for participating countries. On 2 November 2023, it was announced that the tournament would not be hosted in Israel due to the 2023 Israel–Hamas war.
