The 2024 Danilith Nokere Koerse was the 78th edition of the Nokere Koerse one-day road cycling race. It was held on 13 March 2024 as a category 1.Pro race on the 2024 UCI ProSeries calendar.
Ten of the 18 UCI WorldTeams, nine UCI ProTeams, and one UCI Continental team made up the 20 teams that participated in the race. [1] Of those teams, all entered a full squad of seven riders with the exception of Lidl–Trek entering six. Of the 138 riders who started the race, only 120 riders finished. [2]

Gert Steegmans is a Belgian former professional road bicycle racer who last rode for UCI ProTeam Lidl–Trek. He was noted for a strong finishing sprint and could compete in the sprint with fellow Belgian cyclist, and teammate, Tom Boonen.
Nokere Koerse is a European semi classic single day cycle race held in the Belgian region of Flanders. From 2005 to 2015, the race was organized as a 1.1 event on the UCI Europe Tour, and starting in 2016 it was upgraded to a 1.HC event. In 2020, the race became part of the UCI ProSeries. The Nokere Koerse was created in 1944, initially as the Grand Prix Jules Lowie in honour of 1938 Paris–Nice winner Jules Lowie who was born in Nokere. Only seven cyclists not born in Belgium or the Netherlands have won this semi classic. There was no edition in 2013 due to bad winter weather.
Lidl–Trek is a professional road bicycle racing team at UCI WorldTeam level licensed in the United States. Formerly RadioShack–Nissan, in 2014, Trek took over the ownership of the team and its ProTeam License.
Tim Declercq is a Belgian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Lidl–Trek. His brother Benjamin was also a professional cyclist before retiring at the end of 2022.

In August 2020, he was named in the startlist for the 2020 Tour de France. He won the gold medal in the team pursuit at the 2020 Summer Olympics held at Tokyo in 2021, setting a new world record.

She rode for Parkhotel Valkenburg in the women's team time trial event at the 2018 UCI Road World Championships. She won the gold medal in road cycling at the 2019 European Games, beating her compatriot Marianne Vos in the sprint for the line. In May 2022, Wiebes won all three stages of the RideLondon Classique. In July 2022, she won the first stage of the Tour de France Femmes.

The 2021 Danilith Nokere Koerse was the 75th edition of the Nokere Koerse road cycling one day race, which was held on 16 March 2021, starting in Deinze and finishing in the titular town of Nokere. The 1.Pro-category race was initially scheduled to be a part of the inaugural edition of the UCI ProSeries, but after the 2020 edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it made its UCI ProSeries debut in 2021, while also still being a part of the 2021 UCI Europe Tour.
