The 2024 Super Rugby Americas season is the fifth season of the Super Rugby Americas, an annual rugby union competition mainly for South American rugby clubs. The regular season began on 16 February 2024. [1]
The seven clubs in the competition compete in the regular season, which takes place over 14 rounds and consists of a double round-robin, with each participating club playing two matches against each of the other six clubs. [1] The top 4 clubs at the end of the regular season move on to the knockout stage where the clubs then play in a knockout tournament, consisting of semi-finals and eventually, the final. [1]

The USA Hawks is a USA Rugby and MLR funded rugby development side, in 2023 a squad was formed to play a number of South American teams. It was one of two national representative rugby union teams from the United States that competed in the North America 4 Series.
The Córdoba Rugby Union is the organisational body that rules the game of rugby union in Córdoba province of Argentina. Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes, with a capacity of 57,000, is used for rugby matches.
Pampas XV is an Argentine professional rugby union team that currently competes in Super Rugby Americas.
The Jaguares was an Argentine professional rugby union team based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. They were founded in 2015 and are the first Argentine team to play in SANZAAR's Super Rugby competition, participating from the 2016 Super Rugby season onwards. They were the runners up during the 2019 Super Rugby season, losing to the Crusaders 19–3 in the Super Rugby Final, played on 6 July 2019. They participated in Super Rugby until the end of the 2020 Super Rugby season, before they departed the competition having not been named in any of the regionalised formats for the 2021 Super Rugby season. With no competition in sight, players moved to different clubs in Europe and the national group disintegrated. The Jaguares disbanded permanently in December 2022 due to the expansion of Super Rugby Americas, dividing into two new teams, Dogos XV and Pampas XV.
The American Raptors are a professional rugby union team based in the municipality of Glendale in Colorado. The team plays in the transcontinental Super Rugby Americas competition. Established as the amateur "Glendale Raptors" in 2006, the team became a professional club upon joining Major League Rugby as a founding member in 2017, but they played there only three years, competing as the "Colorado Raptors" in their final shortened season of 2020 before withdrawing from the league.
Manuel Ardao Ferres is a Uruguayan rugby union player who generally plays as a flanker. Ardao plays for Miami Sharks in Major League Rugby (MLR) and represents Uruguay internationally.
Peñarol is a Uruguayan professional rugby union team based in Montevideo. The team was founded in 2019 to compete in Súper Liga Americana de Rugby and is the rugby section of the Peñarol sports club. With its participation, Peñarol became the first professional rugby club in Uruguay.
Yacare XV is a Paraguayan professional rugby union team based in Asunción. The team was founded in 2019 as Olimpia Lions to compete in Súper Liga Americana de Rugby. Olimpia Lions was an offshoot of the Club Olimpia sports club.
Dogos XV is a professional rugby union team based in Cordoba, Argentina. The team was founded in 2019 as Ceibos to compete in Súper Liga Americana de Rugby and was Argentina's second professional franchise. The team was disbanded ahead of the 2021 season, following Argentina Rugby's decision to play the Jaguares XV in the competition, following the team's departure from Super Rugby.
Selknam is a professional rugby union team based in Santiago, Chile. The team was founded in 2019 to compete in Súper Liga Americana de Rugby.
