The first day of meteorological 2025-2026 winter in Asia began on December 1, 2025, and will end on February 28, 2026; [1] winter storms may occur outside of these limits, as when a cold front produced snowfall along the Korean peninsula in late October.
On October 20, a cold front produced snowfall on Mount Seorak, the first snow of the season in South Korea.
