The 2026 African U-17 Women's World Cup qualification is the 10th edition of the African U-17 Women's World Cup qualification, the biennial international youth football competition organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to determine which women's under-17 national teams from Africa qualify for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. Players born on or after 1 January 2009 are eligible to compete in the tournament.
Four teams will qualify from this tournament for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco, joining the host nation as CAF representatives.
A total of 31 (out of 54) CAF member national teams entered the qualifying rounds. The draw was held on 10 January 2026 in Rabat, Morocco, at 13h00 local time (12h00 GMT / 14h00 Cairo). [1]
The competition format is as follows:
| Second round entrants (30 teams + 1 first round winner) | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Pot 1 (Highest ranked – WAFU A, WAFU B & UNIFFAC) | Pot 2 (Lowest ranked – WAFU A, WAFU B & UNIFFAC) | Pot 3 (Highest ranked – COSAFA, CECAFA & UNIFFAC) | Pot 4 (Lowest ranked – COSAFA, CECAFA & UNIFFAC) |
Qualification ties are played on a home-and-away two-legged basis. If the aggregate score is tied after the second leg, the away goals rule is applied, and if still tied, the penalty shoot-out (no extra time) is used to determine the winner. [1]
