The 2026 African U-17 Women's World Cup qualification will be the 10th edition of the qualification competition for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to determine the four representatives from Africa at the 2026 edition in Morocco. Players born on or after 1 January 2009 are eligible to compete.
A total of 31 (out of 54) CAF member national teams entered the qualifying rounds. The draw was held on 10 January 2026 in Rabat, Morocco, at 13h00 local time (12h00 GMT / 14h00 Cairo). [1]
The competition format is as follows:
| Second round entrants (30 teams + 1 first round winner) | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Pot 1 (Highest ranked – WAFU A, WAFU B & UNIFFAC) | Pot 2 (Lowest ranked – WAFU A, WAFU B & UNIFFAC) | Pot 3 (Highest ranked – COSAFA, CECAFA & UNIFFAC) | Pot 4 (Lowest ranked – COSAFA, CECAFA & UNIFFAC) |
Qualification ties are played on a home-and-away two-legged basis. If the aggregate score is tied after the second leg, the away goals rule applies and if still tied, extra time is skipped and the penalty shoot-out will determine the winner. [1]
