The sequel of 3 Bahadur was announced in a press release in November 2015. The details revealed that Fahad Mustafa, Ahmed Ali Butt, Salman Shahid and Sarwat Gilani will also lend their voices in the sequel titled 3 Bahadur: The Revenge of Baba Balaam. [3] [4] In March 2016, ARY Films unveiled the first look poster through a tweet. [5] [6]

Release

The teaser for the film was released on YouTube on 3 August 2016. [7] Later the official Trailer for the film was released online on 27 October 2016. [8] The film was released on 15 December 2016. [9]

Reception

Box office

The movie opened better on Thursday with day one collecting Rs. 2.17 crore (US$75,000) in its opening week. Film grew 25% relative to previous week collecting Rs. 2.72 crore (US$94,000) taking two weeks total to Rs. 4.89 crore (US$170,000).

Sequel

The third film, 3 Bahadur: Rise of the Warriors is scheduled to be released in December 2018, which has the voice by Mehwish Hayat, Fahad Mustafa, Sarwat Gillani, Nimra Bucha and Behroze Sabzwari. [10]

The film is co-produced by Waadi Animations which is a joint-venture of SOC films and ARY Films. 3 Bahadur became Pakistan's first computer-animated feature-length film. Film's plot focuses on three eleven-year-old friends, Amna, Saadi and Kamil, three extraordinary children who rise from the unlikeliest of places to save their community from the evils that plague it. The film is set in a fictional town called Roshan Basti. Equipped with courage and super powers, they battle against the odds and stand up to injustice to restore peace and harmony in their once thriving community and live a very happy life.

Sitara: Let Girls Dream is a 2020 Pakistani animated short film directed and written by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. The film attempts to spotlight the issue of child marriage.

Zeba Shehanz is a Pakistani actress, comedian, host and voice actress known for her work on television and theater. Shehnaz rose to fame in late 1970s for her work in comedies such as Fifty Fifty (1978). For her performance in Shamim Ara's directorial Munda Bigra Jaey (1995), she won Nigar Award for Best Supporting Actress. She is the recipient of President's Tamgha-e-Imtiaz as well.
