His vocal range shifts throughout the song from very high falsetto to his deeper lower baritone. The B-side was "2 Whom It May Concern", which was also available on the maxi single for "7".

It also remains Prince's only number one single on the UK Singles Chart, and was shortly followed by the release of The Beautiful Experience that also charted on No. 18 in the UK. The version that was released on The Gold Experience is a different mix of the song.

"Betcha by Golly, Wow" is a song written by Thom Bell and Linda Creed, originally titled "Keep Growing Strong" and recorded by Connie Stevens under the Bell label in 1970. Stevens' recording runs two minutes and thirty seconds. Interactive Tour was a semi-tour by American recording artist Prince, which took place in the year 1994. The tour was a "semi-tour" because the concerts took place very irregularly, however all of them were held to promote the albums Come and Exodus. The tour was termed "interactive" as Prince considered his material around this time an "experience", with various songs containing technological beeps, other assorted sounds and an assertive feminine voice reminiscent of those heard on computers at the time. This "interactive experience" would manifest itself more strongly in the following years, as Prince was one of the first musicians to use the internet in various ways.
