75 Ark is a hip hop record label based in San Francisco, California. It was created in 1998 when Toni Isabella, Anne Cook, along with Erik Gilbert and Rachel Matthews of Asphodel Records, left to form and run 75 Ark. NicheMusic was the parent company of 75 Ark, founded by David S Schulhof. [1] In June 2000, 75 Ark became the first record label to sign a deal with Napster. [2]

In 2002, Erik Gilbert formed Coup d'État Entertainment. [3] However, this label never achieved the level of success as 75 Ark.

Michael Shawn Crahan, more commonly known by his stage persona "Clown", is an American musician. He is the co-founder and one of the percussionists for alternative metal band Slipknot, in which he is designated #6. Crahan helped form Slipknot in 1995 alongside bassist Paul Gray and former vocalist Anders Colsefni. Crahan is the longest-serving and only remaining original member of Slipknot, and also has extensive involvement with Slipknot's media production and music videos. Outside Slipknot, Crahan had two side project bands called To My Surprise and Dirty Little Rabbits. Aside from his musical activity, he also directed the 2016 action thriller film Officer Downe.

Napster is a music streaming service based in Seattle, Washington, United States. Until 2016, the service was known domestically as Rhapsody before rebranding as Napster, the same name brand that was used by Roxio's Napster.

Throttle Junkies is the first studio album by American rock band SOiL. It was released on May 18, 1999 via MIA Records. It included tracks previously released on the band's EPs Soil and El Chupacabra. While it did not chart in the US, it reached #16 on the CMJ New Music Report.
