Abu Zafar Mohammod aka A.Z.M. Shofiuddin Shamim (Bengali : আবু জাফর মোহাম্মদ শফি উদ্দিন; born 10 January 1969) [11] is a Bangladeshi politician and successful businessman. [12] He is the founder of the SQ Group. [13]

Personal life

Shamim was born on 10 January 1969 in Barura Upazila, Cumilla. [14] He completed his primary level education at district school.He completed H.S.C at Comilla Government College. and B.Com. (Hon's) completed at Dhaka University. He was completed MBA degree from the University of the West of Scotland.

Career

He is the vice president of Comilla South District Awami League. [15] He was submitted his nomination form to contest the Jatiya Sangsad election in Comilla-8 on 18 November 2023. [16] He was elected to chairman of SBAC Bank in 2023. [17] He has been elected as an MP Bangladesh Parliament from Comilla-8.
