The A. M. Qattan Foundation is a not-for-profit developmental organisation based in Ramallah, West Bank, Palestine.
It was founded in 1993 by the Palestinian businessman and politician Abdel Mohsin Al-Qattan. [1] [2] The chairman is his son Omar Al-Qattan. [2]
In June 2018, the Foundation opened a $21 million headquarters building and arts centre in Ramallah. [2]
The foundation was involved in a bid to inscribe Palestinian hikaye to UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage. [3]

Khalil Sakakini Cultural Center is a leading Palestinian arts and culture organization that aims to create a pluralistic, critical liberating culture through research, query, and participation, and that provides an open space for the community to produce vibrant and liberating cultural content. Located in Ramallah, KSCC is housed in a renovated building, dating back to the early 20th century, based on traditional Palestinian architecture. Initially established in May 1996 as a branch of the Palestinian Ministry of Culture, KSCC was registered as a non-profit non-governmental organization (NGO) in 1998. The center is named after the Jerusalemite scholar, poet, and nationalist, Khalil Sakakini.

Before the formation of the PNA in 1994, Wafa was the official news agency of the Palestine Liberation Organization.

Hasan (Hassan) Hourani was a Palestinian artist, born in Hebron, Palestine. He attended the College of Fine Art in Baghdad, Iraq from 1993-97. In 2001 he presented his one-man show "One Day, One Night" in the UN building in New York City. He then studied at the Art Students League of New York and continued to live in the city for several years. His work has been exhibited in Palestine, Iraq, Egypt, Jordan, South Korea, New York and Houston.

Nabi Salih is a small Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the central West Bank, located 20 kilometers northwest of Ramallah. It had a population of 522 in 2017. It is noted for the weekly marches to protest the occupation undertaken since 2010, a practice suspended in 2016, after 350 villagers were estimated to have suffered injuries in clashes with Israeli troops over that period.

Riwaq or Centre for Architectural Conservation is a center for the preservation of architectural heritage of rural Palestine. The organization is based in Ramallah and owes its name mainly to a riwaq, which is an arcade in Islamic architecture.
The Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) is the unicameral legislature of the Palestinian Authority, elected by the Palestinian residents of the Palestinian territories of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. It currently comprises 132 members, elected from 16 electoral districts of the Palestinian Authority. The PLC has a quorum requirement of two-thirds, and since 2006 Hamas and Hamas-affiliated members have held 74 of the 132 seats in the PLC. The PLC's activities were suspended in 2007 and remained so as of November 2023, while PLC committees continue working at a low rate and parliamentary panel discussions are still occurring.

On 19 January 2024, Palestinian-American teenager Tawfic Abdel Jabbar was driving on Highway 60 in the West Bank when he was shot and killed. An Israeli police statement stated that an off-duty Israeli police officer, an Israel Defense Forces soldier, and an Israeli settler had opened fire on Abdel Jabbar's vehicle. Abdel Jabbar was the 94th child, 358th Palestinian, and first American killed in the West Bank since the start of the Israel–Hamas war.
