<i>Maanikya</i> 2014 Kannada action drama film

Maanikya is a 2014 Indian Kannada-language action drama film directed by Sudeepa featuring himself, V. Ravichandran, Ranya Rao, Ramya Krishna, Varalaxmi Sharathkumar and P. Ravi Shankar in the lead roles. The film is a remake of 2013 Telugu film Mirchi. It was released on 1 May 2014. Upon its release, Maanikya got an excellent response from the critics and audience, and had a good run at the box office. The satellite rights of the movie was sold for a large amount. The film was later dubbed into Hindi under the same name by RKD Studios in 2015.

<i>Power</i> (2014 Kannada film) 2014 film by K. Madesh

Power is a 2014 Indian masala film directed by K. Madesh and features Puneeth Rajkumar and Trisha in lead roles, alongside Prabhu, Kelly Dorjee, Rangayana Raghu and Sadhu Kokila in supporting roles. It is a remake of the 2011 Telugu film Dookudu which itself was inspired by the 2003 German tragicomedy film Good Bye, Lenin!. The story revolves around Bharath Kumar (Puneeth), a police officer who’s pursuing underworld don Naik (Kelly), who operates from Spain and Mumbai. Naik and his henchmen had tried to kill Bharath’s father Krishna Prasad (Prabhu), an honest MLA and a staunch follower of late actor Rajkumar. Circumstances force Bharath to act as an MLA, a reality show director and a cop, three roles which he portrays with finesse. While in Spain, Bharath falls in love with Prashanthi (Trisha). But how he plans to eliminate Naik and company forms the mainstay of the plot.

<i>Hebbuli</i> 2016 film by Krishna

Hebbuli is a 2017 Kannada-language action thriller film directed by S. Krishna and produced by Raghunath and Umapathy Srinivas. The film stars Sudeep and V. Ravichandran, who teamed up for the second time after Maanikya (2014). Amala Paul made her debut in Kannada cinema. P. Ravi Shankar, Kabir Duhan Singh and Ravi Kishan play the antagonists.

<i>Kurukshetra</i> (2019 film) 2019 film directed by Naganna

Kurukshetra is a 2019 Kannada-language mythological war film written by J. K. Bharavi and directed by Naganna. The story is based on the epic poem Gadhayuddha by Ranna, which itself is based on the Indian epic Mahabharata. The story is centred on Duryodhana, the Kaurava king. The film was produced by Munirathna.

Brihaspathi is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language comedy drama film directed by Nanda Kishore and produced by Rockline Venkatesh under his home banner.
