A1 Esports is a Bangladeshi professional esports organization focused on PUBG Mobile. They are the first Bangladeshi team to play in PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC). [1] [2]

History

In February 2020, Kazi Arafat Hossain founded the A1 Esports. A1 made their first appearance in PUBG Mobile Club Open (PMCO) Spring Split 2020. But unfortunately, they couldn't qualify for the next round. In August 2020, they participated in the Fall Split of the tournament and manage to qualify for the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Fall Split 2020. In that tournament, they finished in 3rd place and qualified for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2020. [1] [2] In July 2021, they donated US$44,000 to UNICEF. [3]

In May 2024, A1 Esports qualified for the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) Spring 2024, which was held offline in Nepal. [4] In June, they qualified for the grand finals of the tournament, where the top 5 teams qualified for the PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2024. [5] [6]

In August 2024, A1 Esports has headed to Nepal to play PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) Fall 2024, where the top 4 teams will qualify for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024. [7] [8] where they couldn't qualify to PMGC.

PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023 is the final event of the 2023 PUBG Mobile competitive season. In the PMGC 2023, 48 qualified teams participated in the League Stage across the phases of Group Stage, Survival Stage & Last Chance in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as a closed offline event in November 2–26. The Grand Finals was held in Istanbul, Turkey on December 8–10 and 14 qualified teams from the League Stage are joined with the host country and PEL teams. The championship featured a total prizepool of $3,000,000 USD.

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2024 is the final event of the 2024 PUBG Mobile competitive season. In the PMGC 2024, 48 qualified teams will participate in the League Stage across the phases of Group Stage, Survival Stage & Last Chance in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as a closed offline event from October 31st to November 24th. The Grand Finals will be held in London, United Kingdom on December 6–8 and 15 qualified teams from the League Stage are joined with the host country team. The championship featured a total prizepool of $3,000,000 USD.
