The Augusto B. Legaspi Sports & Cultural Complex is an indoor sporting arena located in Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines. It was constructed in 1993 inside the Godofredo P. Ramos Park fronting the Provincial Capitol of Aklan. Several events are being held here like concerts, basketball games, social gatherings, graduations, and other activities that the facilities may cater. It was named in honor of a former governor of the Province. The facility is primarily used for basketball games.

Aklanon (Akeanon), also known as Bisaya/Binisaya nga Aklanon/Inaklanon or simply Aklan, is an Austronesian language of the Bisayan subgroup spoken by the Aklanon people in the province of Aklan on the island of Panay in the Philippines. Its unique feature among other Bisayan languages is the close-mid back unrounded vowel occurring as part of diphthongs and traditionally written with the letter ⟨Ee⟩ such as in the autonyms Akean and Akeanon. However, this phoneme is also present in other but geographically scattered and distant Philippine languages, namely Itbayat, Isneg, Manobo, Samal and Sagada.

The COVID-19 pandemic in Western Visayas is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The virus reached Western Visayas on March 20, 2020, when the first case of the disease was confirmed in Bacolod. All provinces have at least one confirmed COVID-19 case.
