Aarhus Gymnastikforening, is a professional sports club based in Aarhus, Jutland, Denmark. Founded in 1880, it is one of the oldest clubs in the country and gymnastics and fencing are featured as its main sports. However, AGF is mostly known for its football department, which was established in 1902. Currently, the club's first team plays in the Danish Superliga, the top flight of the Danish football league system.

In 2011 Kolding FC merged with Vejle Boldklub, but the merger came to an end again in 2013, without Kolding FC being reestablished.

Kolding Idræts Forening is an association football club based in Kolding, Denmark. The team competes in the Danish 1st Division, the second tier of Danish football, after getting promotion at the end of the 2022–23 season. Founded in 1895, Kolding IF played in the top-flight 1982 and 1983 Danish 1st Division championships. In 2002, they joined forces with Kolding Boldklub, the other major football club in Kolding, to form the cooperative Kolding FC first team. The joint club merged with Vejle Boldklub in 2011 to form Vejle Boldklub Kolding. This merger was dissolved in 2013 and Kolding IF reemerged.

Ballerup-Skovlunde Fodbold, commonly known as BSF, is an association football club based in the town of Ballerup, Denmark, that competes in the Denmark Series, the fourth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 2010 as a merger between Ballerup Boldklub and Skovlunde IF, the club play at their home ground Ballerup Idrætspark. Their colours are red and white. BSF is affiliated to the local football association, DBU Zealand. The women's team is one of the strongest in Denmark, competing in the highest tier Elitedivisionen.

Jan Lewis Bartram, known simply as Jan Bartram, is a Danish former professional association football player in the midfielder position. He played for Scottish team Rangers and Bayer 05 Uerdingen in Germany, as well as Danish teams AGF and Brøndby IF. He earned 32 caps and scored five goals for the Denmark national team and was in the Danish squad for the 1986 FIFA World Cup.
Peter Degn is a Danish former professional footballer. He has played 25 games and scored three goals for the Denmark national under-21 football team.
Jørgen Christian Thomdahl Olesen was a Danish association football player, who played 42 games and scored two goals for the Denmark national football team. Born in Aarhus, he played his entire career as a midfielder for local club Aarhus Gymnastik Forening (AGF). He was also part of Denmark's squad at the 1952 Summer Olympics, but he did not play in any matches. He died in the Aarhus suburb Viby in June 1999, 75 years old.
Henry Petersen From was a Danish association football goalkeeper. He played 31 games for the Denmark national football team, and won a silver medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics. He spent his entire club career at AGF Aarhus, with whom he won four Danish football championships and four Danish Cups.
Østerbro Stadium is a combined football and athletics stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is the home of the football clubs Boldklubben af 1893 and BK Skjold and it is also the home stadium of the athletics clubs Københavns Idræts Forening and Sparta. It has a capacity of approximately 4,400. The stadium is currently being renovated, to meet the demands from the Danish Football Association. The field will be made both longer and wider and a new track will be laid for track and field. The stadium was used for the 2009 World Outgames.

The 1926–27 JBUs Mesterskabsrække was the 29th season of the Jutland Football Championship since its establishment in 1902, and the 5th season since the regional top-flight league was rebranded and reorganised from JBUs A-Række to the JBUs Mesterskabsrække. The season was launched on 12 September 1926 and concluded on 8 May 1927 with the final match of the regular league fixtures, while the two-legged championship play-off and the promotion/relegation play-off matches were held between 15 May and 12 June 1927. Horsens FS secured their second consecutive Jutland league championship and qualified for both the provincial semi-finals of the 1926–27 Landsfodboldturneringen and the group stage of the 1927–28 Danmarksmesterskabsturneringen. Horsens FS' reserve team were relegated and replaced by Kolding BK of the 1926–27 JBUs A-række, who had won the regional second-tier league championship. In the 1926 JBUs Pokalturnering, Aalborg BK obtained their third consecutive cup championship, by winning the final against Esbjerg fB.
