A Dozen Furies was a metalcore band from Dallas, Texas. They were the winners of the 2004 MTV reality show Battle for Ozzfest . They were awarded a spot on the 10th anniversary of Ozzfest as well as a record deal with Sanctuary Records. They released one studio album, A Concept from Fire , on September 13, 2005, before disbanding in 2006. Members have gone in different directions while still remaining friends.

Believe is the second studio album by American heavy metal band Disturbed, released on September 17, 2002 via Reprise Records. Produced by the band and Johnny K, it focuses heavily on religious and spiritual themes inspired by recent tragedies. With greater emphases on melodic dynamics, it also demonstrates a broadening in the band's musical range compared to their 2000 debut The Sickness. Believe was the last album to feature original bassist Steve "Fuzz" Kmak before he was fired from the band in 2003.

Crazy Town American rap rock band

Crazy Town is an American rap rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1995 by Bret Mazur and Seth Binzer. Crazy Town is best known for their 2000 hit single "Butterfly", which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and helped their debut album, The Gift of Game (1999), sell over 1.5 million units. Their follow-up album, Darkhorse (2002), failed to achieve the same level of success, contributing to the band's breakup in 2003. Mazur and Binzer reformed the band in 2007 and released their third album, The Brimstone Sluggers, in 2015. In 2017, Mazur left the band and Binzer changed the name of the band to Crazy Town X.

Ozzfest was an annual music festival tour of the United States and sometimes Europe and later Japan, featuring performances by many heavy metal and hard rock musical groups. It was founded by Sharon Osbourne and her husband Ozzy Osbourne, both of whom also organised each yearly tour with their son Jack Osbourne, and was held almost annually between 1996 and 2018. The Ozzfest tour featured bands of a variety of genres within heavy metal and hard rock, including alternative metal, thrash metal, industrial metal, metalcore, hardcore punk, deathcore, nu metal, death metal, post-hardcore, gothic metal and black metal. Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath played the tour several times over the years.

GZR

GZR was an American heavy metal band founded by Black Sabbath bassist/lyricist Geezer Butler, with the band's name derived from its creator. The band has been marketed with three different names on their three releases. In 1995, they were marketed as g//z/r, in 1997, it was merely geezer, and in 2005 it was GZR. Most fans refer to the band as geezer, although Butler himself refers to the band name as "gee-zed-R". This incarnation of the band is not to be confused with Butler's previous attempt in 1985 to form a solo band, then known as the Geezer Butler Band – the two outfits are largely unrelated.

3 Inches of Blood was a Canadian heavy metal band formed in 1999 in Victoria, British Columbia, last consisting of Cam Pipes, Justin Hagberg, Shane Clark, and Ash Pearson, none of whom were original members of the band. Their music was strongly influenced by the new wave of British heavy metal movement.

Gizmachi is an American heavy metal band from Newburgh, New York, formed in 1998. They are signed to Big Orange Clown Records a subsidiary of Sanctuary Records owned by Shawn "Clown" Crahan. Gizmachi was one of the bands on the second stage of Ozzfest in 2005. Vocalist Sean Kane also appeared on Mushroomhead's Savior Sorrow album, on the track "Tattoo". The band had Soilwork frontman Björn "Speed" Strid handle the vocals on this forthcoming record, which was produced/engineered by Jay Hannon and mixed by Mark Lewis. Strid commented of his involvement:

"Being a part of the new Gizmachi record was one of the most challenging adventures I've experienced. I can honestly say that I've grown as a metal singer since recording these vocals."

Mondo Generator American rock band

Mondo Generator is an American rock band founded in 1997 by Nick Oliveri. The name of the band originated when Brant Bjork spray-painted the words on the side of Oliveri's Sunn amplifier. Mondo means "world" in Italian. The Oliveri-penned Kyuss song appearing on the 1992 album Blues for the Red Sun also took its name from this event, and the amplifier itself appears in the artwork for the album.
