Abdellah Dami (born 25 January 1982 in Tiel, Netherlands) is a Moroccan-Dutch journalist, presenter and writer. He studied commercial economics and at age 20 he started a foundation called "Maghrebmedia" in response to the negative portrayal of immigrants in the media. At age 21, he published a book called "Couscous met appelmoes, dialoog met Marokkanen" (Couscous with apple sauce, dialogue with Moroccans) concerning life's issues of Moroccan youths. Later worked for "TV Noord Holland" where he presented his own show "Shoot" and radio station "FunX". From 2007 onward, he worked for the Netherlands Muslim Broadcasting Network (NMO) where he presented two shows, "Meetingpoint", a discussion programme and youth programme "In de waan van alledag" (Everyday Delusions). He also presents a youth programme on Radio 5 called "De Zevende Hemel" (Seventh Heaven). [1] [2]

The Dutch public broadcasting system is a group of organizations that are responsible for public service television and radio broadcasting in the Netherlands. Geert Wilders is a Dutch politician who has led the far-right Party for Freedom (PVV) since he founded it in 2006. In the 2010 formation of the first Rutte cabinet, a minority government of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) – which he left in 2004 – and Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), Wilders actively participated in the negotiations, resulting in a "tolerance agreement" between the PVV and these parties. He withdrew his party's parliamentary support in 2012, citing disagreements with the cabinet over proposed budget cuts. Wilders is best known for his right-wing populism, anti-immigration, opposition to Islam and Euroscepticism, and for his relations with Russia. His views have made him a controversial figure in the Netherlands and abroad. Since 2004, he has been protected at all times by armed police.

Ahmed Aboutaleb is a Dutch politician of Moroccan origin. A member of the Labour Party (PvdA), he has served as Mayor of Rotterdam since 2009. In January 2024, he announced he would resign the post later in the year.
Samuel Pallache was a Jewish Moroccan merchant, diplomat, and pirate of the Pallache family, who, as envoy, concluded a treaty with the Dutch Republic in 1608. His antecedents fled to Morocco during the Reconquista. Appointed as an agent under the Saadi Sultan Zidan Abu Maali, Pallache traveled to the newly-independent Dutch Republic to discuss diplomatic terms with the Dutch against their mutual enemy, the Spanish. He died in the Netherlands, brought there due to the intervention of his ally, Maurice of Nassau, who helped him when he was arrested by the Spanish.
Ali Bouali, known professionally as Ali B, is a Dutch-Moroccan rapper. He is one of the most well known rappers in the Netherlands and has collaborated with popular musicians such as Senegalese-American artist Akon and Dutch singer Marco Borsato. He is seen as a prominent figure in Dutch inter-ethnic relations.
Moroccans in the Netherlands, also Moroccan Dutch or Dutch Moroccans, are citizens or residents of the Netherlands of Moroccan origin. They consist of immigrants from Morocco and their descendants, and form the second largest ethnic group in the Netherlands.
Khadija Arib is a Moroccan-Dutch politician of the Labour Party, who served as Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Netherlands from 12 December 2015 to 7 April 2021. In the 2016 Speaker of the Dutch House of Representatives election on 13 January, she was elected to the position, which she had served as Acting Speaker since the resignation of Anouchka van Miltenburg on 12 December 2015. Arib became a member of the House of Representatives following the 1998 Dutch general election and served until 2022, with a brief interruption between 2006 and 2007.

Relations between the Moroccans and the Dutch people of the Kingdom of the Netherlands span a period from the 16th century since the Dutch Revolt period and the era of the Dutch Empire and the Dutch Republic to the present day. The Netherlands is represented in Morocco by an embassy in Rabat and a consulate-general in Casablanca.

The Party for Freedom is a nationalist and right-wing populist political party in the Netherlands. Since the early 2020s, the party has rapidly grown in popularity, gaining significant support for its anti-immigration positions.
