Abdirahman Ali Hassan is a Kenyan politician. He served in the government of Kenya as assistant minister for trade and industry from 2005 to 2007. [1] A member of the Orange Democratic Movement, He was elected to represent the Wajir South Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya in the Kenyan 2002 parliamentary election. [2] He was also elected to the senate of Kenya in 2013, [3] representing Wajir county, and becoming deputy minority leader in the senate. [4] [5] [6]
Abdirahman went to Wajir primary school, Wajir high school, before being admitted to the university of Nairobi, where he graduated with a Bachelor of developmental studies. He was the director and programme coordinator oxfam GB in Kenya, from 1998, stepping down when he became Kenya's member of parliament.
In the 1997 Kenyan general election, Abdirahman contested the Wajir South Constituency parliamentary seat, but lost it. In the election, Abdirahman again contested Wajir South. He won the seat, which he held until 2010, becoming the first person to hold the seat two consecutive terms. During his term, he wascredited with the building of 10 schools to increase primary and high school enrollment in the region. He also implemented a major water projects for the Wajir south people during his term and introduced innovative clinics to decrease infant mortality.

Hassan Ali Joho is a Kenyan politician and the former Governor of Mombasa County affiliated with the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). He was also elected to represent the Kisauni Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya during the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. On 4 March 2013, during the general election, Joho was elected as the first governor of Mombasa County. In the 2017 General Elections held on 8 August, Joho retained his seat on an ODM ticket. Despite significant politically engineered setbacks, Joho emerged triumphant by winning with 220 576 votes against his closest rival Suleiman Shahbal with 69 322 votes, Suleiman was a member of the Jubilee Party. Joho served as governor of Mombasa until 2022 when he completed the constitutionally allowed two five-year terms. He was succeeded by Abdulswammad Sherrif Nassir the former member of the National Assembly for Mvita Constituency.
Aden Keynan Wehliye is a Member of the National Assembly of Kenya. He served Wajir West constituency from 1997 to 2002 and 2007 to 2013. He then moved to Eldas constituency which was carved from Wajir West. Keynan served as the MP of Eldas in the 11th and 12th parliaments. He represented the Orange Democratic Movement until 2017 when he switched to the Jubilee Party. Keynan was re-elected on the Jubilee ticket in the 2022 elections. He is the longest-serving MP of the 13th Parliament of Kenya.

Fatuma Gedi is a Kenyan politician from Wajir town. A former member of the National Assembly from Wajir county. The former Women representative for Wajir county. In 2017 she won the seat through Party for development and reform, under the reign of the fourth president of the Republic of Kenya, Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta.
Joseph Wathigo Manje is a Kenyan politician, a teacher, and an entrepreneur, and currently the Member of Parliament for Kajiado North Constituency in Kajiado County. He is a member of the ruling Jubilee Party under President Uhuru Kenyatta. Karemba belongs to the United Democratic Alliance party under the Kenya Kwanza alliance led by the current and the fifth president of Kenya Dr William Ruto. He is a graduate of Kenyatta university with a Bachelors of Education and was a student leader at the same university. Karemba made history by becoming the first Akorino MP in the history of Kenya. Karemba currently serves as the Chairman of the Labor and Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly.

Abdulaziz Ali Farah is a Kenyan politician and a member of the 11th Kenyan parliament elected from Mandera East Constituency on the ticket of United Republican Party (URP) and with support of Jubilee Coalition in 2013. In the parliament, he served on the Environment & Natural Resources committee. Farah is a Murulle tribesman and received the endorsement of the council of elders of his clan for his first term but was unable to secure the endorsement for a second term in 2017 ending his parliamentary career.
