Abdirahman Mohamed Hussein is a Somali politician. Before entering politics,he served as President of SIMAD University. He was the Minister of Interior and Federal Affairs of Somalia,having been appointed to the position on 27 January 2015 by the then Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke. Additionally,Majeerteen populations are present in southern towns such as Kismayo.

The Darod clan is the largest Somali clan family in the Horn of Africa.

His term ended on 1 March 2017,and he was replaced by Hassan Ali Khaire.
