Abdirahman Mohamed Hussein is a Somali politician. Before entering politics,he served as President of SIMAD University. He was the Minister of Interior and Federal Affairs of Somalia,having been appointed to the position on 27 January 2015 by the then Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke. He hails from the Saleeban Habargidir clan. [1] He is a fierce critic of Farmaajo.

The Darod is a Somali clan. The forefather of this clan was Sheikh Abdirahman bin Isma'il al-Jabarti,more commonly known as Darood. The clan primarily settles the apex of the Horn of Africa and its peripheries,the Somali hinterlands up to Oromia,and both sides of the Kenya–Somalia border. The Darod clan is the largest Somali clan family in the Horn of Africa.

The majority of the Marehan live in the Jubaland in southern Somalia,as well as the Galguduud and Mudug regions in central Somalia,the Somali region of Ethiopia and the North Eastern Province of Kenya.
Abgaal is a sub-clan of the Hawiye and the even larger Samaale clan. It is one of the major Somali clans and has produced many prominent historical Somali figures including 3 presidents,and the father of the Somali military.
The Habar Gidir is a major subclan of the Hawiye. The clan has produced many prominent Somali figures,including the first Prime Minister of Somalia Abdullahi Issa Mohamud and Somalia's fifth President Abdiqasim Salad Hassan.
Nur Hassan Hussein,popularly known as Nur Adde,was a Somali politician,who served as Prime Minister of Somalia from November 2007 to February 2009. He was from Mogadishu and part of the Abgaal sub-clan of the Hawiye.
Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke,popularly known as Omar Sharmarke,is a Somali diplomat and politician. From 2009 to 2010,he was the Prime Minister of Somalia. He subsequently briefly served as Somalia's Ambassador to the United States in 2014. In December 2014,Sharmarke was reappointed Prime Minister of Somalia. His term ended on 1 March 2017,and he was replaced by Hassan Ali Khaire.
Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed,also known as Farmaajo,is a Somali politician who served as president of Somalia from 2017 to 2022. He was prime minister of Somalia for six months,from November 2010 to June 2011. Mohamed is the founder and leader of the Tayo Party since 2012.

However,he only served 2 weeks when on 17 January 2015,Prime Minister Sharmarke dissolved his newly nominated cabinet due to vehement opposition by legislators,who rejected the reappointment of certain former ministers. On 27 January 2015,Sharmarke appointed a new,smaller 20 minister cabinet and was named the new Minister of Livestock and Pasture of Somalia. He has now been succeeded by Sheikh Nur Mohamed Hassan.
