Abdou Salam Baco (born c. 1965) is a Mahoraisan writer. He was born in Mzoizia in Mayotte. He has written three books, and founded the musical group Mobissa.

Moti Lal Kemmu was an Indian contemporary playwright from Jammu and Kashmir. He was born in Srinagar into a Kashmiri Pandit family and attended Jammu and Kashmir University. His plays include Nagar Udas, Teen Asangati Aikanki (1968), Lal Drayas Lol Re (1972), Trunove (1970), Tshai (1973), Natak Truche (1980), Tota Tol Aina (1985).
Mattanur Sankarankutty is an Indian percussionist who plays the chenda, Thayambaka, Panchari melam, and Panchavadyam. He was born in Mattanur in Kannur district of Kerala. He was awarded the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Award in 1996, the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2009 and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2012.

Tom Brown is a former professional Canadian football player, and a former outstanding American college football player. He played collegiately at the University of Minnesota, and won the Outland Trophy in 1960 as the nation's best lineman. He played professional football with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL), and was made a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1984. Brown was inducted into College Football Hall of Fame in 2003.

John Tyrrell was a British musicologist. He published several books on Leoš Janáček, including an authoritative and largely definitive two-volume biography. Tyrrell was born in Salisbury, Zimbabwe and worked as a professor of music and executive editor of The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians. He died on October 4, 2018, aged 76.
Heinz Starke was a German politician. He was born in Schweidnitz, Silesia. He was Minister of Finance of the Federal Republic of Germany from 1961–62. He was a member of the Bundestag from 1953 to 1980 representing the district of Hof from 1953 to 1957 and Bayreuth from 1976 to 1980.
