Kamal Ganzouri was an Egyptian economist who served as the Prime Minister of Egypt from 7 December 2011 to 24 July 2012. He previously served as prime minister from 1996 to 1999. He came to power in 1996 succeeding Atef Sedki, and was in turn succeeded by Atef Ebeid in 1999. He was branded Minister of the Poor and the Opposition Minister because of his way of dealing with limited income people and the opposition. Before becoming prime minister, Ganzouri served as Minister of Planning and International Cooperation. On 24 November 2011, Egypt's military rulers appointed him prime minister. He was sworn in and took office on 7 December 2011.

Saleh has published several books on politics, social, history and culture, as well as publishing writing and research in Lebanese and Arab newspapers and magazines. He has also contributed to the establishment of a house for the dissemination of enlightening and modernist thought, a cultural magazine, and a seminar for cultural dialogue with a group of thinkers and intellectuals in Lebanon and the Arab world.

Alexandria International University is national, non-profit Egyptian university that is part of Alexandria University, The decision was issued to establish it by the Alexandria University Council on October 29, 2019. It is located in the universities area in the new Borg El Arab city at Alexandria Governorate on an area of about 350 acres. The university will focus entirely on international programs and colleges and will become the international extension of the University of Alexandria. Education at the university will be based on the system of special programs taught in a credit-hours method, and it is expected that the cost of establishing the branch will reach about five billion Egyptian pounds over ten years.
