Abdul Hye Sikder is a Bangladeshi poet. He is a former executive director of Nazrul Institute and vice president of Jatiya Nazrul Samaj. [1] [2] He received the Bangla Academy Literary Award in 2003.[ citation needed ]
Sikder completed his bachelor's and master's in Bengali literature from Rajshahi University. He worked as the Chief of Feature Services of the national news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) and assistant Editor of Daily Inqilab. Sikder served as executive director of Nazrul Institute Dhaka from 2005 to 2006. He is currently the assistant editor of Daily Amar Desh and as Associate Professor of the University of Development Alternative. [3]
Sikder serves as the president of Mukhush Natya Sangstha. [4]
Sikder is married to Abida Sikder. They have a son, Param Wazed Sikder and a daughter, Prokriti Wazed Sikder.
Shamsur Rahman was a Bangladeshi poet, columnist and journalist. A prolific writer, Rahman produced more than sixty books of poetry collection and is considered a key figure in Bengali literature from the latter half of the 20th century. Her siblings are Farida Yasmin, Fauzia Yasmin, Nazma Yasmin, and Sabina Yasmin. She was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2004 by the Government of Bangladesh. She won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for her performance in the film Shuvoda (1986).
Sikdar Aminul Haq was a Bangladeshi poet. In recognition of his contribution in language and literature, the government of Bangladesh posthumously awarded him the country's second highest civilian award Ekushey Padak in 2020.

He was the founder of Central Hospital, Dhaka.
Nashid Kamal is a Bangladeshi vocalist, writer and professor of demography. She is the eldest granddaughter of Bengali folk singer Abbasuddin Ahmed. Kamal is widely regarded as a Nazrul exponent. For her contributions to Nazrul's works, she has received awards including the Nazrul Award from the Nazrul Academy in 2009 and Nazrul Padak from the Nazrul Institute in 2014.
