Abdul Jalal Jalal is the Chief of Police of Kunar Province, Afghanistan. [1] Jalal was described as a reformer in The Enduring Ledger , the publication of the Public Affairs department of the Combined Security Transition Command. [2]

Kerben is a town in Jalal-Abad Region of Kyrgyzstan. Its population was 14,141 in 2009. It is the administrative centre of Aksy District.

Heath Ledger Australian actor

Heath Andrew Ledger was an Australian actor, photographer and music video director. After performing roles in several Australian television and film productions during the 1990s, Ledger left for the United States in 1998 to further develop his film career. 2014 Newark mayoral election

The 2014 Newark mayoral election took place in Newark, the most populous city in New Jersey, on May 13, 2014. The race was characterized as a contest between two candidates, Ras Baraka and Shavar Jeffries, both from Newark's South Ward. Elections for all seats on the nine member Municipal Council of Newark also took place. Luis A. Quintana, who had become Mayor of Newark following the resignation of Cory Booker, did not seek the seat.

2004 Shah Jalal bombing was a terrorist grenade attack on the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Anwar Choudhury. the High Commissioner was injured in the attack and two bystanders were killed. The attack was carried out by Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami.
