Abdul Kader is a lawyer. He was associated with the politics of the Jatiya Party. He was elected to parliament from Jessore-6 constituency in as an independent candidate in 1988 Bangladeshi general election. In the fifth parliamentary elections of 1991,he was defeated by the Jatiya Party. [2] [1]
The Jatiya Sangsad,often simply referred to as Sangsad and also known as the House of the Nation,is the supreme legislative body of Bangladesh. Abdul Kader Siddique is a Bangladeshi politician. He served as a Mukti Bahini member and organizer of the Bangladesh Liberation War. He fought with an estimated 17,000-strong guerrilla force in the Tangail region against the Pakistan Army. The army was called Kaderia Bahini. At the end of the war in 1971,Siddique's forces entered Dhaka along with the Indian forces,signaling the end of the war. He was awarded Bir Uttom by the Government of Bangladesh. Since 1999,he has been serving as the leader of his newly formed party,the Krishak Sramik Janata League.
Abdul Latif Siddiqui is a former Bangladesh Awami League politician. He is the current Member of Parliament for the Tangail-4 constituency in Jatiya Sangsad. He served as the Minister of Textiles and Jute in the second Hasina ministry and Minister of Posts,Telecommunications and Information Technology in the third Hasina ministry.
