Abdul Latif Yousafzai is a supreme court lawyer of Pakistan, currently serving as Advisor to the National Assembly of Pakistan. Yousafzai was designated with the rank and status of Senior Provincial Minister while previously serving as the Advocate General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa [1] [2] as well as Chairman Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council from 2013 to 2019. Prior to that he served as member of the Privatization Commission of Pakistan [3] from 2008 until 2010 and as a member of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee for Federal Board of Revenue of Pakistan. He also served as the prosecutor general of National Accountability Bureau from 1999 to 2001. He was the Deputy Attorney General of Pakistan between October 1992 and 1995.

He started his legal career in 1974 and served between 1986 and 1991 as the special prosecutor of the anti-narcotics cases and legal advisor to the Customs and Income Tax departments. He served as Secretary Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan and was elected four times as member Executive of the Supreme Court Bar Association. He also served as the vice-president Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan from 2003 to 2005. Yousafzai was a candidate to the Senate of Pakistan from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. [4] [5]

Sardar Latif Khosa is a Pakistani lawyer and politician who is a senior advocate in the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He served as the 37th Governor of Punjab from 2011 to 2013. He is the incumbent Member of National Assembly Pakistan from NA-122 Lahore since 10 February 2024. He was a senator from 2003 to 2009, the attorney general of Pakistan from 2008 to 2009 and the Federal advisor of Information Technology & Telecommunication from 2009 to 2010. Khosa also remained a member of the Pakistan Bar Council and served as its Executive Committee's chairman. He co-authored an electoral fraud report with former prime minister Benazir Bhutto shortly before her assassination in December 2007. Khosa had been one of Bhutto's top aides. Khosa joined PTI in 2023; now he is considered as one of the most prominent aides of former Prime minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.

The triennial Senate Electionsof Pakistan were held on 3 March 2018 to replace 52 retiring senators - half of the Senate's strength - with the winning candidates serving six-year terms. Overall, Pakistan Muslim League (N) came out as the largest party, followed by the Pakistan Peoples Party and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. The Election commission of Pakistan announced the election schedule on 11 February 2021. 52 of the 104 Senators had retired on 7 February 2021. After the merger of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas with Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, FATA seats were abolished and there was no election on 4 of the 8 seats. The rest of the 4 seats will be abolished in 2024. Official results of the Senate Elections were announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan on 10 March 2021.

Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri was born on December 12, 1966, in Peshawar, Pakistan. Tariq is a Pakistani Jurist and Judge at the Islamabad High Court. Also, Prior to his appointment at the Islamabad High Court he was an advocate at the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He was also an Advocate General at the Supreme Court. In 2016, he was the President of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association.
