Abhishek Mishra (born 29 August 1977) is an Indian politician and a former member of the legislative assembly of Uttar Pradesh. Prof. Abhishek Mishra is an ex-Cabinet Minister of Uttar Pradesh who represented UP in GST Council. Currently he is the National Secretary and Spokesperson of Samajwadi Party. He was a faculty of Business Policy Area (Strategy & Innovation) in IIM Ahmedabad. He completed PhD & MPhil in Strategy & Marketing from University of Cambridge (in collaboration with MIT, USA) and MSc. in Management from Glasgow, U.K.

He was elected to 16th state assembly election in 2012 for a five year term. He represented Samajwadi Party. [1] [2] [3] Abhishek Mishra has a PhD in strategy and marketing from Cambridge. He has served the Home and Defence ministries as their consultant for the Sixth Pay Commission and trained batches of IAS and IPS officers, apart from working with various multinationals. [4] He is one of the most prominent Brahmin leaders of Uttar Pradesh. [5] He has recently been given an MLA ticket from Sarojini Nagar seat in Lucknow. [6] Prof. Mishra recently emphasised the importance of social media in the Uttar Pradesh Elections Campaigning. [7]

Raghuraj Pratap Singh,, commonly known as Raja Bhaiya, is an Indian politician, currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in the 18th Uttar Pradesh Assembly, representing the Kunda assembly constituency. Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) (translation: Progressive Socialist Party (Lohia)), earlier known as Samajwadi Secular Morcha, was a political party formed by former cabinet minister of Uttar Pradesh Shivpal Singh Yadav after leaving the Samajwadi Party on 29 August 2018. Stating that he has decided to form the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia) to retain socialist values. In the Present scenario the Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party is a registered political party by the Election Commission. The camp office is located in Lucknow, capital city of Uttar Pradesh. The permanent office is situated in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow.

Vijay Kumar Mishra is an Indian politician who, as of 2017, represents the Gyanpur constituency in the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. As a member of the Nishad party, he won the seat in the 2017 state assembly elections. In March 2018, he was expelled from that party, despite being its only Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), when he supported a candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in elections to the Rajya Sabha. The party allied with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and had ordered him to support the BSP candidate, Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Mishra is currently contesting assembly elections of 2022 from Gyanpur constituency, he is holding election symbol "Helicopter" high to register his victory in 2022 elections. Notable point is Vijay Mishra is contesting from Pragatisheel Manav Samaj Party in 2022 assembly elections. But he lost this election badly, he remained in third position. Mishra is being detained by UP Police under charges of extortion and land-grabbing and trespassing. Mishra had been a member of the Samajwadi Party (SP), for whom he successfully contested in the 2002, 2007 and 2012 assembly elections. Described in 2007 by the Hindustan Times as a "mafia", he had at that time over 30 pending criminal cases lodged against him. He contested the 2012 election while in jail in relation to an alleged involvement in the 2010 bomb attack on Nand Gopal Gupta, who was minister of state at that time (2010) and was chosen as cabinet minister in Yogi Adityanath's government.. Denying the charges as being politically motivated, he was released on bail later in the year, by which time 62 criminal cases were recorded against him. His family had anticipated his release would occur if the SP were returned to government.

Rakesh Pandey is an Indian politician and a member of the 18th Uttar Pradesh Assembly from Jalalpur as a Samajwadi Party candidate. He was a Member of Parliament in the 15th Lok Sabha from Ambedkar Nagar as a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate. From 2002 to 2007, he was a MLA in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. In January 2022, Pandey left Bahujan Samaj Party and joined Samajwadi Party.
