Abolaji Omotayo Oluwaseun (born 12 June 1998) is a Nigerian sprinter. [1] She won a gold medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay, at the 2015 African Junior Athletics Championships .
She participated in the 2014 Nigerian Youth Championships (U18). She won a bronze medal, in the 100 meters, at 12.57, behind Aniekeme Alphonsus and Favor Ekezie . [2] She participated at the 2014 World Junior Championships in Athletics. [3] She participated at the 2015 Commonwealth Youth Games , winning a gold medal at the 4×100 metres relay. [4]

Amusan became the first Nigerian world champion in an athletics event when she won the 2022 World Championships 100 m hurdles gold medal, setting the current world record of 12.12 seconds in the semifinal, followed up by a wind-assisted 12.06 s in the final. She won back to back Commonwealth and African titles in 2018 and 2022 in the 100 m hurdles and is also a two-time African Games champion in the event.

She is the 2019 World champion with the third fastest time in history of 48.14 seconds, becoming the youngest-ever champion in the event and also the first woman representing an Asian nation to win that event at a World Championships. The mark places her only behind contested results of Marita Koch and Jarmila Kratochvílová. At the event, at only 19, Naser was the 2017 World silver medalist.
