Abubakarr Multi-Kamara GCOR is a Sierra Leonean civil servant and diplomat who served as Sierra Leonean Ambassador to China from 2012 to 2013. [1] [2] [3]

He graduated from London South Bank University with a bachelor's degree in estate management, and with an MA in development economics University of East Anglia. [1] Between August and September 2008, he was chairman of the committee on national security and peacebuilding. [4] In 2013, he was nominated as the next Sierra Leonean Permanent Representative to the United Nations, [5] but ultimately did not take up the position. [6]

In April 2013, he was made a Grand Commander of the Order of the Rokel, [7] the second order of Sierra Leone. [8]

The club is a member of the Sierra Leone National Premier League, which is the top football division in Sierra Leone. The club is owned and run by the Sierra Leone Ports Authority (SLPA). Ports Authority play their home games at the National Stadium in Freetown.

Brima Sesay nicknamed Small Attouga, was a Sierra Leonean international goalkeeper. Sesay played for Ports Authority F.C. in the Sierra Leone National Premier League and for the Sierra Leone national football team known as the Leone Stars. He was one of the best young goalkeepers in Sierra Leone.

Abdul Kady Karim was a Sierra Leonean politician, accountant and academic. He was a member of the United National People's Party (UNPP). He ran for President in Sierra Leone's August 2007 general election and finished in 7th place with 7,260 votes nationally.

Sierra Leone sent a delegation to compete at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 to 18 September 2016. This was the nation's third time competing at the Summer Paralympic Games after it made its debut twenty years prior at the 1996 Summer Paralympics. The delegation consisted of a single athlete, table tennis player George Wyndham, who lost both of his preliminary round matches to Zhang Yan of China and Thailand's Wanchai Chaiwut in the men's singles class 4 tournament and advanced no further in the competition.

The Order of the Rokel is the second order of Sierra Leone, after the Order of the Republic. It may be awarded to recognize Sierra Leoneans who have distinguished themselves by making valuable contributions to the country in the areas of to the public service, arts and sciences, and philanthropy. The award is normally awarded by the President of Sierra Leone.

Capital punishment has been abolished in Sierra Leone. Sierra Leone abolished capital punishment in July 2021 following a decision by the nation's Parliament.

The China-Sierra Leone Friendship Hospital is a modern hospital located in Jui, Sierra Leone, a town not far outside the capital of Freetown. It has 100 beds and is managed jointly by Sierra Leonean Ministry of Health and the Shandong Qushan Hospital, but is also 'twin hospitals' with Xiangya Hospital. It has departments for gynecology, surgery, ophthalmology, ear, nose, and throat, an ICU, and a mortuary. The hospital is built over an area of 7,738 square meters.
