Abul Hasnat Mohammad Tariq, ndu, afwc, psc is a Major General of the Bangladesh Army. He is currently as Military Secretary to the Chief Adviser. [1]

Military career

Tariq was commissioned in the 27th BMA Long Course in the Corps of Infantry.

He was promoted to the two-star rank on October 2024 as part of a wider re-shuffle. [2] As major general, he was made GOC of the 33rd Infantry Division and Commander of Cumilla Area. [3] Later, he was transferred to the post of Commandant of the East Bengal Regimental Centre. [4]

He is known for serving as MSCA during the Yunus administration. [5]
