The Accademia di Belle Arti di Macerata is an academy of fine arts located in Macerata, Italy. It was founded in 1972. [1]

Initially, the Accademia was located in the Palazzo Buonaccorsi. After the Umbria and Marche earthquake of 1997, it was moved to its current location, in an 18th-century former convent. [2] Among its directors were painters and art critics, including Remo Brindisi. [2]

The Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara is a public tertiary academy of art in Carrara, in Tuscany, Italy. It was founded on 26 September 1769 by Maria Teresa Cybo-Malaspina, duchess of Massa and princess of Carrara; but its origins go back to 1757, when, on the advice of the sculptor Giovanni Domenico Olivieri, she founded the Accademia di San Ceccardo in which sculpture, architecture and painting were to be taught.

Amico Ricci Petrocchini, Petruccini or Petruchini (1794-1862) was an Italian art historian and marquess. He is most notable for his 1834 Memorie storiche delle arti e degli artisti della Marca di Ancona, the first systematic survey of art history in the Marche. He also composed a number of cantatas for viola (1862).
