Adam Al Azhari (born 26 June 2009) is an Emirati racing driver who last competed for Rodin Motorsport in the F4 British Championship.
Al Azhari is the son of Karim Al Azhari, a German-Emirati businessman and former racing driver. [1] Al Azhari is also the younger brother of fellow racing driver Keanu Al Azhari, who he raced against in his maiden season in Spanish F4. [2]
Al Azhari obtained his first kart at the age of five, making his racing debut two years later and competing until 2024. [3] During his karting career, Al Azhari most notably won the 2018–19 RMC UAE series in Micro Max and the 2024 IAME Middle East Cup in X30 Senior. [4]
In 2024, Al Azhari made his single-seater debut in the F4 Spanish Championship, racing for Tecnicar Motorsport from the third round onwards. [5] Racing in the final five rounds, Al Azhari scored a best result of tenth in race one at MotorLand Aragón en route to a 24th-place points finish. [6] At the end of the year, Al Azhari joined Yas Heat Racing to contest the inaugural season of the Formula Trophy UAE. [7] In the three-round series, Al Azhari scored a best result of fifth in both Yas Marina rounds to end the year 12th in points. [8] [9]
Al Azhari remained with Yas Heat Racing to race in the F4 Middle East Championship in early 2025, [10] in which he won race one at Lusail, [11] but was later disqualified after his clutch was found to be illegal. [12] After ending the winter tenth in points with a best result of fifth, [13] Al Azhari joined Rodin Motorsport for the rest of the year to compete in the F4 British Championship. [14] Al Azhari scored his maiden win in the reverse-grid race at Silverstone, [15] before taking further wins at Snetterton and Knockhill along with three more podiums to end the year sixth in points. [16] [17] At the end of the year, Al Azhari partook in the relaunched F4 Saudi Arabian Championship, [18] scoring two wins in Bahrain and three podiums in Jeddah to end the season runner-up to Kit Belofsky. [19] [20] Also near the end of the year, Al Azhari reunited with Yas Heat Racing to compete in Formula Trophy. [21]
