Adam Tyc (born 5 September 1986) is a Czech sport shooter with two gold medals in the IPSC Production division from the 2005 [1] and 2008 IPSC Handgun World Shoots. [2] At the 2005 World Shoot he was only 18 years old and also became Junior World Champion. [3] He is also two time European champion (2004 and 2007), and has several IPSC Czech Handgun Championship titles. Adam is a member of CZ Shooting Team [4]
The CZ 75 is a semi-automatic pistol made by Czech firearm manufacturer ČZUB. First introduced in 1975, it is one of the original "wonder nines" and features a staggered-column magazine, all-steel construction, and a hammer forged barrel. Practical shooting, also known as dynamic shooting or action shooting, is a set of shooting sports where the competitors try to unite the three principles of precision, power, and speed, by using a firearm of a certain minimum power factor to score as many points as possible during the shortest amount of time. While scoring systems vary between organizations, each measures the time of which the course is completed, with penalties for inaccurate shooting. The courses are called "stages", and are shot individually by the shooters. Usually the shooter must move and shoot from several positions, fire under or over obstacles and in other unfamiliar positions. There are no standard exercises or set arrangement of the targets, and the courses are often designed so that the shooter must be inventive, and therefore the solutions of exercises sometimes varies between shooters.
Todd Jarrett is an American competitive shooter, firearms instructor, and filmmaker. He has both national and World titles within practical shooting, holding four world titles, nine national titles and has won more than 50 US Area championships, as well as many other action shooting events. Jarrett is the only USPSA Triple Crown Winner and holds four USPSA National titles - Open, Limited, Production and Limited-10. Jarrett lives in Virginia.

Éric Grauffel is a French sport pistol shooter in IPSC and firearms instructor with eight overall IPSC Handgun World Champion titles and one Junior World Champion title. Eric Grauffel is also the co-initiator of the EG-CZ Academy which is a training facility based in Quimper. He is known for having an unprecedented winning streak, and has won several hundreds IPSC President Medals. Additionally he has won the IPSC European Handgun Championships nine times. He is the son of the French national team trainer Gérard Grauffel.

Hilde Nakling is a Norwegian shooter who during the 2014 IPSC World Shoot claimed the title as World Champion in the Lady Standard Division. She is the daughter of Vidar Nakling, 1980 IPSC European Champion and an active shooter until 1996. Hilde visited the shooting range for the first time already three months old, and gradually got to try various small firearms. During the early years she only attended the range once or twice a year, and it was not until she took a beginners course in 2005 that she became seriously hooked. Since 2006 she has competed actively. To prepare for the 2014 World Shoot she quit her day job as a nurse at the Oslo University Hospital, and continued to work shifts as a nurse on the pediatric ward.
Benjamin Thomas Stoeger is an American competition shooter and firearms instructor who started competing actively in 2005. He placed first in the 2017 IPSC Handgun World Shoot, second behind Bob Vogel in the 2011 IPSC Handgun World Shoot, and placed third in the 2014 IPSC Handgun World Shoot behind Eric Grauffel and Simon "JJ" Racaza. He is also three time IPSC US Handgun Production Champion, eight time USPSA Handgun Production Champion.
Daniel Horner is an American sport shooter and firearms instructor who placed fourth in the Production division at the 2008 IPSC Handgun World Shoot. He shoots varied action shooting competitions with an emphasis on multigun, and is a 10-time USPSA Multigun Champion in the Tactical division. Horner competed for the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit from 2005 to 2018, when he joined Team SIG Sauer.

The 2022 IPSC Handgun World Shoot XIX was held in Thailand from November 27 to December 3. The match consisted of 30 stages over 5 areas, and the main-match sponsor was CZ firearms. The match had a capacity of 1600 competitors, and 1345 competitors from 73 countries completed. It was the first World Shoot featuring the popular Production Optics divisions, and was the nineteenth IPSC Handgun World Shoot.
