Adi Lokesh is an Indian actor who works in Kannada films. He is known for his villainous roles such as his role in Jogi (2005) as Bidda.

Personal life

He is the son of actor Mysore Lokesh. His sister is actress Pavitra Lokesh. [1] [2]

Career

Adi Lokesh made a breakthrough with as a schemer named Bidda in Jogi (2005). After the success of the film, he made his lead debut with Poojari (2007). However, after the film's failure, he did not star in any film for a year. He also played the lead in Bidda (2008) and Gang Leader (2010). [3] During this time, he played negative roles in films such as Arasu (2007) as Meera Jasmine's tormentor and Raaj – The Showman (2009). [4] [3]

In 2014, he participated as a contestant in the second season of Bigg Boss Kannada (2014) airing on Asianet Suvarna. [5] [6]

Jogi is a 2005 Indian Kannada-language action film written and directed by Prem. It stars Shiva Rajkumar, Jennifer Kotwal and Arundathi Nag. Jogi was released on 19 August 2005. Record box office collection was reported across Karnataka and the movie completed 100 days in more than 61 theaters. The film was noted for its technical prowess, colloquial Kannada dialogue and lyrics. Its story revolves around an old lady who comes to the city from her village in search of her presumably lost son. It was remade in Telugu as Yogi and in Tamil as Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram.

Arun Sagar is an Indian actor, art director and comedian who mainly works in the Kannada film industry. He has been recognized as a leading art director throughout his career starting from his first movie, Bhoomi Geetha which won the national award for best environmental film. He has worked with veteran directors like Poori Jagannath, Meher Ramesh, Veerashankar and K Raghavendra Rao. The film opened to mixed reviews from audience and critics upon the release and went on to become a box-office hit at both Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

<i>Dandupalya 3</i> 2018 Indian film

Dandupalya 3 is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language crime thriller film directed by Srinivas Raju and produced by Ram Talluri. Based on the infamous dacoit gang from Dandupalya, the film is a sequel to the 2017 critically acclaimed film Dandupalya 2 and is third film in the series. The film stars Pooja Gandhi, continuing her role from the prequels and most of the principal cast including P. Ravishankar, Makarand Deshpande, Sanjjanaa, Ravi Kale and Petrol Prasanna reprise their roles from the previous films. The film's score and soundtrack is composed by Arjun Janya and cinematography by Venkat Prasad. The film is dubbed into Telugu language and is entitled Dandupalyam 3. Much of the crew members have been retained for the film from the prequels apart from roping in Naveen Krishna, Tabla Nani, Ramesh and Gururaj Desai to pen the dialogues. The film would mark the end of the franchise.
