Aditya K. Gupta is a Canadian dermatologist with special expertise in hair restoration surgery and mycology. He is a professor at the Department of Medicine, University of Toronto and the director at Mediprobe Research Inc., London, Ontario. [1]
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, [2] fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, [3] fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, [4] and a fellow of the European Council of Medical Mycology. Gupta graduated from King's College London, in Cambridge where he received a Master of Arts degree in engineering, and then a Bachelor of Medicine degree at University of Southampton.
He completed a residency in dermatology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with additional training as a clinical research fellow at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland followed by additional post-graduate basic research in dermatology that led to a PhD from the University of Gothenburg and Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Sweden.
