Administrative Training Institute, Mysore is a major federally funded training organization of the Government of Karnataka located in Mysore, India. [1] V. Manjula IAS is the current Director General.

Facilities

ATI, Mysore has a campus of 35 acres on the foothills of Chamundi hills near the Karanji lake. The State Institute for Urban Development is inside the same campus. [2] ATI is the apex training organization of the provincial government. Being a nationally important and prestigious organization, ATI Mysore also conducts training for federal officers of IAS, IPS and IFS cadres. ATI Mysore has an auditorium that can accommodate 70 trainees. [3] [4]

SIRD Mysore

Abdul Nasir Sab State Institute of Rural Development or A.N.S.S.I.R.D. is a campus inside ATI, Mysore funded by the Government of Karnataka. This second organization gives training to local body employees. [5]

ATI Library

The library inside the campus has 55,000 government records and other study material.

Hostels

ATI Mysore has hostel facility for 165 trainees.

Mysore Medical College & Research Institute

Mysore Medical College & Research Institute, also known as Government Medical College, Mysore is one of the oldest medical colleges in India. It is located in the heart of Mysore city adjacent to the railway station. Founded in 1924 by Sri Krishna Raja Wadiyar IV, it is the first medical college to be established in the Karnataka region and the seventh in India. The college is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Jayanagar, Bangalore.

National Institute of Engineering Engineering college in Mysore

National Institute of Engineering (NIE) is a private engineering college located in Mysore, Karnataka, India. It was established in 1946 and granted autonomy in 2007 from Visvesvaraya Technological University.

The All India Services (AIS) comprises Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service and Indian Forest Service. A unique feature of the All India Services is that the members of these services are recruited by the centre, but their services are placed under various State cadres, and they have the ability to serve both under the State and under the centre. Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) is a civil service training institute on public policy and public administration in India. The academy's main purpose is to train civil servants of the IAS cadre and also conduct the Foundation Course of Group-A Central Civil Services. Anita Kaul Indian politician

Anita Kaul was an Indian Administrative Service officer best known for her contributions to the Indian education sector. She was a defining voice of the Right to Education movement and one of the principal architects of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 which made education a fundamental right for every child in India. She is also well-known for her role in expanding the Nali Kali approach to primary schools in India. Regional Institute of Education, Mysore Indian educational institution, south Indian regional center of NCERT

Regional Institute of Education, Mysore is an educational institution and South Indian regional resource center of NCERT. It was established on 1 August 1963. It was enacted to improve school education by providing training to young education enthusiasts before teaching service (pre-service) and also provide timely training to working teachers (in-service). RIE Mysore provides its educational services to south Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana and union territories of Pondicherry and Lakshadweep. Mysuru Local Planning Area Metropolitan Area in Karnataka, India

Mysuru Local Planning Area is the metropolitan area limit defined in City Development Plan 2031 by Mysore Urban Development Authority. Mysuru Planning Area is divided into 45 planning districts spanning across the Taluks of Mysore, Nanjangud and Srirangapatna of Mandya district. As per City Development Plan 2031, this metropolitan area covers 509sq.km of area and has a population of 1,696,577.
