The Arizona Outlaws were a professional American football team that played in the United States Football League in the mid-1980s. They were owned by Fresno banker and real estate magnate William Tatham Sr., who had briefly owned the Portland Thunder of the World Football League.
The Birmingham Stallions were a franchise in the United States Football League, an attempt to establish a second professional league of American football in the United States in competition with the National Football League. Elbert L. "Ickey" Woods is an American former professional football player who was a running back for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL) from 1988 through 1991. He played college football for the UNLV Rebels. He is best remembered for his "Ickey Shuffle" end zone dance, performed each time he scored a touchdown. After a rookie season in which he set numerous rookie franchise records, a series of injuries shortened his NFL career and he retired after four years.

McCallum played college football for the Navy Midshipmen, and then played professionally for the Los Angeles Raiders of the NFL. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.

The UNLV Rebels football program is a college football team that represents the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). After his playing career, he became the general manager of Eldorado Resorts properties of Circus Circus, Eldorado, and Silver Legacy Resort & Casino.

Clifford Valmore Olander is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback for three seasons with the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the New Mexico State Aggies and was selected by the Chargers in the fifth round of the 1977 NFL draft. He was also a member of the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL).

Frank Toto'a Manumaleuna was an American football linebacker who played three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Chiefs in the fourth round of the 1979 NFL draft. He first enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles before transferring to De Anza College and lastly San José State University. Manumaleuna attended Phineas Banning High School in Los Angeles, California. He was also a member of the Oakland Invaders and Portland Breakers of the United States Football League (USFL). Manumaleuna died on June 1, 2022, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Javin Durrell White is an American professional football linebacker for the Michigan Panthers of the United Football League (UFL). He played college football at UNLV and signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2020.
Michael Joseph "Mickey" Barilla is a former American football placekicker who played one season for the Pittsburgh Maulers of the United States Football League (USFL). Barilla also spent time with the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL), and Oakland Invaders of the USFL, but did not make any appearances. With the Pittsburgh Maulers, he played one game.

Armani Lee Rogers is an American professional football tight end for the Atlanta Falcons. He played college football as a quarterback for the UNLV Rebels and Ohio Bobcats and holds the record for longest run by an NCAA quarterback at 99 yards. Rogers transitioned to tight end after his college career and signed with the Washington Commanders as an undrafted free agent in 2022.
Ramiz Ahmed is an American football kicker who is a free agent. He played college football for the Nevada Wolf Pack and holds the record for the longest field goal in USFL history at 61 yards. Ahmed has also been a member of the Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, and Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL).
