Adranika is a fictional race introduced in the GMA TV Series - Mars Ravelo's Darna. The TV series is produced by GMA in cooperation with the Estate of Mars Ravelo and Mango Comics. The term "Adranika" is based on the term "Adarna Warriors" which was coined in the Mango Comics Darna comicbook mini-series. The Adranikas were led by Queen Adran and her loyal right-hand person Aio. They were under siege from the evil Anomalka, led by their queen of darkness, Braguda in the planet of Marte. [1]
Although the original "Darna" series by Mars Ravelo specifically states that Darna is from the "Planet Marte", the term "Adranika" (describing Darna's race) was NOT created by Mars Ravelo.
Fighting for survival, Queen Adran decided to send off Aio on a mission to find a worthy medium for the magical "white stone" to be given to someone with a pure heart to transform into Darna, the savior and the symbol of the Adranika race. Aio boards a space ship to Earth, and moments later, the planet Marte is destroyed.
With Braguda's ship right behind her, Aio is forced to make a crash landing on Earth. Little did she know that Braguda also landed on Earth, ready to take possession of the mystic stone.
The Race of Adranika together with Anomalka was destroyed including Queen Adran. Aio and Queen Braguda managed to escape. Aio went to Earth to give the white stone to the chosen one, Narda. While Braguda manages to get the white stone and combine its power to her black stone to convert all humans to Anomalkans and terraform the planet into a New Planet Marte.
It was later revealed that there were some Adranikan survivors who managed to escape the destruction of the Planet Marte and had colonized a new one in a distant solar system.
Without Queen Adran to guide them, the remaining misguided survivors of the Adranika race had their own intentions to reshape the Planet Earth into its "perfect image." But Darna eventually prevailed even against her own benefactors and the Earth was left to chart its own future.

Darna is a Filipina superheroine created by writer Mars Ravelo and artist Nestor Redondo. The character's first appearance was in Pilipino Komiks #77 on May 13, 1950. Darna is a retooling of Ravelo's earlier character, Varga, whose stories he wrote and illustrated himself. This character first appeared in Bulaklak Magazine, Volume 4, #17 on July 23, 1947. Ravelo left the Bulaklak Magazine publications due to differences with the publication's editors. One of the most popular Filipino superheroes, Darna has appeared in many films and several television series through the decades which have far overshadowed her actual comics tenure.

Valentina is a supervillain created by Mars Ravelo and Nestor Redondo who first appeared in the second episode of the Darna series published in the Philippine comics Pilipino Komiks. One of the most recognizable supervillainess characters in the Philippines, she is the archenemy of Darna. She was originally a bitter, deformed woman born from ordinary human parents with venomous snakes on her head that appears to be like hair. When she grew up, she killed her parents and was subsequently taken in by a serpent creature named Kobra. Valentina was soon referred to as "goddess of the snakes".

Apart from being an editor, illustrator, cartoonist, and writer for Philippine comics, Fernandez was also a certified public accountant in the Philippines.

Captain Barbell is a Filipino superhero created by writer, Mars Ravelo and artist Jim Fernandez. His characteristics are similar to American fictional superheroes Superman, DC Comics' Captain Marvel or Shazam, and Thor but Ravelo based his backstory on Captain America. He first appeared in Pinoy Komiks #1 on May 23, 1963. He also appeared in Kampeon Komiks.
Varga is a fantasy series on ABS-CBN adapted from the creation of Mars Ravelo. It is the second installment of the anthology Mars Ravelo's Komiks Presents.
Varga is a Filipino comics superhero created by Mars Ravelo. He wrote and illustrated Varga for Bulaklak Magazine, appearing first in the magazine's No. 17, Vol. 4 issue. A falling out with some of the magazine's editors caused Ravelo to resign from Bulaklak and transfer to Pilipino Komiks, where he re-launched his superhero. Ravelo renamed her Darna, an anagram of the superhero's mortal alter-ego name Narda. Darna's adventures in Pilipino Komiks began in the No. 77 issue, where she was illustrated by Nestor Redondo.

Produced under the action, comedy, and fantasy genre, it was a family-friendly movie intended as a parody or spoof of Mars Ravelo's comic book character and female superhero Darna. The role of Darna Kuno was played by Filipino actor, Dolphy. The film was released on March 30, 1979.
Mars Ravelo's Darna is a Philippine superhero series airing on Kapamilya Channel. The series is based on Mars Ravelo's Philippine fictional Directed by Chito S. Roño, Avel Sunpongco and Benedict Mique, it stars Jane De Leon in the titular role. The series premiered on August 15, 2022 on Kapamilya Channel's Primetime Bida evening block, Cine Mo!, A2Z Primetime, TV5's Todo Max Primetime Singko, and worldwide on The Filipino Channel, replacing FPJ's Ang Probinsyano. It is set to conclude on February 10, 2023 with a total of 130 episodes. It will be replaced by FPJ's Batang Quiapo on its timeslot.
Black Darna is one of Darna's archenemies in the Darna. Katrina Halili played the role. Her costume was similar to Darna's trademark red and gold but in all black and gold. Halili played another Darna villain, Serpina, in Darna.
Narda Custodio, commonly known as "Narda" is a fictional character primarily portrayed by Jane de Leon in ABS-CBN's modern take of Darna, a concept created by Mars Ravelo. The character "Narda" first appeared on Pilipino Komiks No. 77 in May 13, 1950. Narda is depicted as a Filipina who is being prepared to be the successor of the Prime Darna, her mother Leonor Custodio/Zora played by Iza Calzado, as the next defender of the white mythical stone.
