The ADVICS Cup is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, held at the Tokoro Curling Hall in Kitami, Japan. [1] It was first held in 2019 as part of the men's and women's World Curling Tour. It is now held as part of the Hokkaido Curling Tour. The tournament is held in a round robin format.

Tracy Fleury is a Canadian curler from Sudbury, Ontario. She joined the Rachel Homan rink as skip for the 2022–23 season, and now plays third on the team. With Homan, she won the 2024 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and later the 2024 World Women's Curling Championship representing Team Canada. In 2021, she led her team to a silver medal at the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials. She has competed at the Canadian national championship seven times and was the Northern Ontario women's junior champion skip from 2005 to 2007.

The World Curling Championships are the annual world championships for curling, organized by the World Curling Federation and contested by national championship teams. There are men's, women's and mixed doubles championships, as well as men's and women's versions of junior and senior championships. There is also a world championship for wheelchair curling. The men's championship started in 1959, while the women's started in 1979. The mixed doubles championship was started in 2008. Since 2005, the men's and women's championships have been held in different venues, with Canada hosting one of the two championships every year: the men's championship in odd years, and the women's championship in even years. The Atkins Curling Supplies Classic is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place at the Assiniboine Memorial Curling Club in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The event has also been hosted by the Charleswood Curling Club in Winnipeg and the East St. Paul Curling Club in East St. Paul, Manitoba. The tournament is held in a round-robin format and was part of the World Curling Tour from 2012 to 2019. It began in 2007. Prior to this it was just part of the Manitoba Curling Tour.

The KW Fall Classic is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place at the KW Granite Club in Waterloo, Ontario. The tournament has been held as part of the men's and women's Ontario Curling Tour, and both the men's and women's events were included in the World Curling Tour starting in 2013. It is considered a "development tour" event.

Satsuki Fujisawa is a Japanese curler from Kitami, Hokkaido. As a skip, she has won the Japanese national championship six times. Fujisawa skipped the bronze medal-winning Japanese team at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games and the silver medal-winning team at the 2022 Winter Olympics. She is currently the skip of the Loco Solare curling team.

Kaho Onodera is a Japanese curler from Sapporo, Hokkaido. She is the second on the FORTIUS curling team, which won the Japan Curling Championships in both 2015 and 2021. At the international level, she has represented Japan at three World Women's Curling Championship and three Pacific-Asia Curling Championships in 2013, 2014 and 2021, winning the gold medal in 2021.

Sayaka Yoshimura is a Japanese curler from Sapporo, Hokkaido. She is the skip of the FORTIUS curling team, which won the Japan Curling Championships in both 2015 and 2021. At the international level, she has represented Japan twice at the World Women's Curling Championship and two Pacific-Asia Curling Championships in 2014 and 2021, winning the gold medal in 2021.

The Curve US Open of Curling is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, held at the Four Seasons Curling Club in Blaine, Minnesota. It was held as part of the men's World Curling Tour from 2014 to 2019 and as part of the women's WCT from 2016 to 2019, though women's teams were invited to participate in the 2014 event. The purse for the event is $8,000 USD on both the men's and women's sides.

The Tokoro Curling Club (常呂カーリング倶楽部) is a curling club in Tokoro Town, Kitami City, Hokkaido Island, Japan. The club has about 40 teams, including a team "Loco Solare" (ロコ・ソラーレ).

The 2019–20 curling season began in June 2019 and was scheduled to end in May 2020. However, the coronavirus pandemic declared in March 2020 resulted in the cancellation of events and the premature ending of the season.

The Steele Cup Cash is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, held at the Capital Winter Club in Fredericton, New Brunswick. It was part of the Men's and Women's World Curling Tour in 2018 and 2019, and is now just a tour event. The tournament is held in a round robin format.

The Superstore Monctonian Challenge or the Superstore Lady Monctonian is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, held at Curl Moncton in Moncton, New Brunswick. It was part of the women's World Curling Tour from 2004 to 2019 and joined the men's tour in 2019. The tournament is held in a round robin format. The event was previously known as the Lady Monctonian Invitational Spiel, the Lady Monctonian Invitational and the Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge.

The 2022–23 curling season began in June 2022 and ended in May 2023.
