Prende or Premte is the dawn goddess, goddess of love, beauty, fertility, health and protector of women, in the Albanian pagan mythology. She is also called Afër-dita, an Albanian phrase meaning "near day", "the day is near", or "dawn", in association with the cult of the planet Venus, the morning and evening star. She is referred to as Zoja Prenne or Zoja e Bukuris. Her sacred day is Friday, named in Albanian after her: e premte, premtja. She reflects features belonging to the original Indo-European dawn goddess. A remarkable reflection associated with the Indo-European dawn goddess is the Albanian tradition according to which Prende is the daughter of the sky god – Zojz.

The Second Assembly of Frashër was one of the regional assemblies organized by the League of Prizren. It was held in Frashër in June 1880. It was attended by representatives of settlements with Albanian population which administratively were part of the vilayets of Ioannina and Manastir. The assembly had as central goal addressing the risk of partition of lands with Albanian populations among neighbouring countries. Among other things, the participants agreed on a proposal to form a central national government which would be formed by the General Assembly of the League of Prizren.

Baki Jashari is a Kosovar composer, conductor, and music educator who directed the Kosovo Philharmonic from 2006 to 2024. He studied composition at the Academy of Music at Ljubljana, graduating in 1984. He would later move back to Ljubljana, conducting the Academy's string orchestra from 1990 to 2000. He was also director of the Professional Choir of Radio Television of Pristina, from 1987 to 1990.
