Salute!, is a 2017 Namibian drama film directed by Philippe Talavera and produced as a Ombetja Yehinga Organisation (OYO) film. It stars Adriano Visagie, Odile Muller, David Ndjavera in lead roles along with newcomer Monray Garoëb. The film focused on the life of Carlito 'Kado', who is sentenced to three years in prison for fraud, leaving his pregnant girlfriend to fend for herself in the real world.

The Unbroken Spirit, is a 2019 Malawian romantic drama film directed by Imran Kingsly Shaban and produced by Imran Pitersen Kaisi. The film stars Ken Kananji and Bertha Nkhoma in lead roles whereas Abdullah and Kamlanje Fantasia Mkwamba made supportive roles. The film was shot in the Malawi Mangochi District at Che Moto Village.

The 2022 Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards held on Saturday, 14 May 2022 at Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos. It was set an 8-day event which started on Saturday, 7 May 2022, unlike previous 1 day events.
