Man on Ground is a 2011 Nigerian South African drama film directed by Akin Omotoso. It was screened and premiered at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival. [1] The film tells a story about how Xenophobia in South Africa affect the lives of two Nigerian brothers. [2] [3] [4] [5]

Plot

Ade, an accomplished financial executive and his brother Femi are South-African immigrants. Unknown to Ade, his brother, who is in South-Africa because of a self-imposed exile due to political affiliation in Nigeria has been kidnapped. On discovery that his brother is missing Ade carries out investigations to unravel the mystery and discovers the difficult lifestyle subjected to him. Ade pays homage to a former employer of Femi, when violence occurred which forced him to live with the boss. The frequent violent riots in the neighbourhood open up many revelations about the life of his brother.

It was released under the production studios' of Temple Productions Slate,1 Films, and The Mission entertainment. "The Ghost and the House of Truth" is the sixth film from the stables of the Temple Productions and the second collaborative work with Akin Omotoso, the director and Ego Boyo, the producer.

Ijogbon is a Nigerian 2023 coming-of-age adventure film produced by Kunle Afolayan and distributed by Netflix. It is one of the three movies agreement signed by Kunle Afolayan with Netflix. The film was written by Tunde Babalola and was released to Netflix on 13th, October 2023. The movie stars Gabriel Afolayan, Adunni Ade, Ex BBNaija star, Dorathy Bachor, Sam Dede, Femi Branch, Yemi Sodimu, Bimbo Manuel, Yemi Solade and a host of others. The film was shot in Oyo State, in the KAP Film Village and Resort.
